About Event

Sierra, the annual Management, Sports and Cultural Festival of IIM Sirmaur is scheduled to be held in the month of January 2019. It aims to serve as a platform for young and talented minds from various prestigious institutes of the country, to engage them in management, sports & cultural events, providing a rejuvenating experience for all. Being a one of its kind fiesta in Sirmaur district, it will be a huge attraction for audiences in and around Paonta Sahib.

The management events include competitions in the areas of operations, finance, marketing, consulting and entrepreneurship. The event is expecting intense participation from students all over India, including those from the premier institutions of the country like IIMs, IITs, NITs, etc.

The underlying management events are designed to devise innovative solutions and frameworks to address the difficulties and dilemmas faced by the industries. Not only do student-led groups come up with ideas that are close to their curriculum takeaways but also learn the industry best practices. As a result, these events forge ties which benefit both, the students as well as industries.
